Drawing sure helps me to notice interesting things about subjects, I'd tend to overlook. I also found a great free artistic discipline resource eBook generously offered by Benoit Philippe. Doing the lessons in it will sharpen your observation.

Thanks Connie, I felt like I was just spinning my wheels that day.
Some times I just fill a sheet of paper with shapes so that I can feel I'm doing something creative.
