Rose Tea Cup

I will usually learn something new with each painting . Sometimes I'm looking to discover something specific, and the painting is setup with that goal in mind. Other times you just take the lesson that comes.

I like this painting a lot. Especially your interplay of shapes. Good work.

Hi Anita, I appreciate your comment! the way I'm working now, I do a light/dark shapes study before I even start painting! I'd like to work a little more intuitive, but maybe later.

Thank you Kay,
Melba is south of Boise on the Snake river. "Other side of the Lake".
