Discovery drawings

I'd like to understand the whole well enough to avoid getting details out of proportion like in the bottom drawing. The middle drawing is less to look at but is starting to capture the form.

Hi Steve!... Love your site! "You" are absolutely right on the money! Discovery comes through searching... "seeing"... playing... then painting... a solid process for success!

I love your drawings leading into the paintings... and your earthy palette... and simplfified brushwork. Top drawer!

Good Painting!
Regards,
Bruce Sherman

Hi Steve - I love all your daffodil studies, especially the bottom one from this series. It has wonderful lost and found edges - really beautiful!
